Position Overview

We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and dependable Stock Clerk to join our team. This behind-the-scenes role is essential in keeping Belleville Market well-stocked, tidy, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience for every customer. You’ll help manage inventory, restock shelves, assist with visual merchandising resets, and support the operations team with supply runs and setup needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise in designated departments
  2. Maintain organized and clean storage and work areas 
  3. Refill displays and product shelves based on visual merchandising plans and floor resets
  4. Assist in setup and breakdown of in-store and off-site events, pop-ups and activations
  5. Monitor product levels and communicate restocking needs to team leads
  6. Ensure sales floor and stock areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards
  7. Provide support to merchants and management with occasional supply pickups and deliveries (must be able to lift up to 40 lbs)
  8. Perform other duties as assigned 

What We’re Looking For

  1. A reliable, detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic
  2. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
  3. Able to take direction and work independently when needed
  4. Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift/move inventory
  5. Availability on weekends and during peak seasons/events is a plus
  6. Prior stockroom or retail experience is helpful but not required - we’re happy to train the right fit!
  7. Reliable transportation
